It is the policy of Children 1st @ Breedon House to staff our baby rooms in an appropriate manner offering specific and relevant training .

On induction staff are introduced to the appropriate baby room policies and procedures and work alongside existing experienced staff.

 A 1: 3 ratio is observed at all times.

A minimum of two members of staff are always  present in the Baby Room areas regardless of lower numbers. Vision panels are positioned in all room areas to allow constant supervision and monitoring.

Qualified staff are always in attendance.

The Baby unit is given priority with both qualified staff and extra support staff, as required.
