Training

 

Children 1st @ Breedon House are constantly assisting their employees to update and enhance their skills. Relevant training is offered to those employees who wish to update their skills or continue with their professional development.

The Training Centre  employs trainees and offers  the chance to gain an NVQ in Early Years Care and Education and play works at Levels 2 and 3.

Qualified staff are available at all times to assist with the process of learning.

The Company also like to ensure that individual needs of candidates are met through assessment and via the diagnostic tests undertaken by our sub- contractor Skills House. Internal assessment is very important to the company to ensure that we don’t set candidates up to fail. We provide a lengthy induction process that covers employee specifics and a separate training induction.

Tutorial support is offered to all candidates and holistic assessments are approached in an anti-discriminatory manner that is fair, valid, reliable and authentic.

Cache is the awarding body in which a large number of the qualifications are accredited with. The training team is supported by their allocated EV, who assists in the quality assurance process along with the I.V’s

All candidates are given a personal pin number and this is inputted on to the company database.

The centre will ensure that that the quality of the training is maintained and that the health and safety of all individual trainees is of utmost importance and that they have access to all information in relation to company policies and procedures.

Each individual candidate will have an allocated mentor who will support his or her employee/ trainee position.

All candidates will have access to the Training policies and procedures.
