Sessions for Funky Feet will be starting up this week (W/C 9th January 2012)

The new topic is the Gruffalo (weeks 1 - 6) and Under the Sea (weeks 7 - 11)

Each session is facilitated by an experienced practioner and the contet of the programme is bespoke to Children 1st - so it really is a unique opportunity for all of the children who participate.

The sessions are a fun opportunity to explore music and movement in a familiar environment and alongside the staff that they know. The children explore different types of movement to a variety of different genres of music. Each session also gives children the opportunity to explore making music alongside their friends, learning the names of instruments and learning how to play them. Each session also introduces or reinforces a basic musical concept such as dynamics, pitch, rhythm, tempo or composition.

Sessions are available for children aged 2 - 3 and 3 - 5 years and last for 30 minutes.
