An accident book is maintained. All accidents, minor or otherwise, are recorded and are available to parents.

In the event of serious accidents, the following procedure will be adopted.

1. First Aid will be administered by a Qualified member of staff who holds an up to date First Aid certificate and any appropriate action will be taken.
2. Parents will be telephoned and advised of action taken by ourselves.
3. In the event that it is necessary for hospital attention, and we are unable to wait, a member of the Senior Management Team will attend with your child. You will be advised immediately and asked to meet us at the hospital.
4. A report is made for any incident of this nature, which is available to you.
5. All minor accidents are also recorded. Your signature will be asked for on these occasions, to ensure that you have been advised.
