Children 1st @ Breedon House values its staff highly. We accept that in the interests of the Centres, the children and the individual, each staff member should be given the opportunity to develop their personal skills to their maximum and broaden their knowledge and skills in caring for children in particular.

Our Company holds an Investor’s in People Award, and are accredited for the Quality Counts Quality Assurance accreditation scheme

We are a CACHE accredited training centre for NVQ’s

We hold regular staff meetings.

We encourage, where practicable, staff to attend external training courses.

We encourage staff to pass on their knowledge to those less experienced and be a positive role model and mentor.

All staff are fully trained to a high standard and all new staff participate in our internal induction programme and ongoing training plan.

On occasion we will need to transfer staff to other Centres so that all age ranges of our children are covered within their training programme.

It is also possible for staff to transfer between our Centres as the need demands. This is always a well thought out and considered option.

We also offer training facilities for student wishing to gain experience from many of the surrounding Colleges and Schools.
