Whoops A Daisy Angel at Children 1st @ Birstall, Clowne, Toton, Grantham and Sheffield Nurseries

It’s the time of year when families and staff are especially proud of the children as they dress up and sing their hearts out to perform their Christmas nativity plays. This year was extra special as it’s the first time since Covid struck that we’ve been able to welcome families into our nurseries to watch the live performances.

Reflecting on the children’s performances, here’s what our nurseries had to say:

Birstall: “Well done to all the children and staff for putting on a great play and a big thank you to all our parents for helping provide the amazing costumes and coming to watch them perform.The children did an amazing job and we are all super proud of them.

Sheffield: “We couldn’t be any prouder of our children and staff if we tried. From the practices, rehearsals, and final performances on the day we are so proud of our children!”

Grantham: “What an absolutely amazing show you put on for our families!! So much hard work went into this, and you blew us all away with your great singing voices and confident speeches.”

Toton: “We are all so proud of our Early Years children who have all performed so well in our nativity plays over the past two days! A massive well done to all the children who were all so confident to perform and all looked fantastic in their costumes.”

Clowne: Endless rehearsals, lots of singing and practising lines, all came down to our two Early Years nativities today and what shows they were!  A big, big well done to all of our older Early Years children who really did blow our socks off!”

Congratulations to all our children for their wonderful performances and a massive thank-you to all the parents and carers who made such great audiences. Having a live audience made it so much more special for the children. Thank-you for your support with the costumes which helped to transform the children into their characters. Final thanks go to our outstanding staff who worked so hard ro bring these nativities to you.
