The Children 1st at River View Leicester is a 70 place purpose built and designed unit that cares for Children between the ages of 6 weeks to 8 years. It was previously owned by Child Base Nurseries Limited and was taken over by Children 1st in September 2005. The nursery is situated within easy walking distance of the City Centre and is minutes from major bus and train routes.
The building itself is ground floor accommodation and comprises of well planned children’s facilities for all the age groups. There is also access to outdoor play space for children to enjoy opportunities outdoors .The nursery offers 2 specialised baby units. One catering for the younger baby aged 6 weeks - 12 months and a second unit for the more mobile baby of approximately 12 months - 20 months.
The early years pre school unit, specialises in offering quality care and education that takes the children through the Stepping Stones enabling them to attain the desired outcomes by the end of the foundation stage.
